Then you can rent in Seattle for 1 year or 2 to make sure you want to be there for a while and decide what area you want to live in and eventually buy something there if you decide you will stay. 

Still, we've re-opened our VRBO listing and have just started a listing with Mini Stays to see how they perform. 

You can also search for local FB groups that specialize in longer term stays.

And Stay consistent, wholesaling takes time, but the more deals you look at, the better you get.As a fellow wholesaler working to build strong relationships and find good deals, I can tell you that being honest, doing your research, and staying patient is the key.

I have no issue staying booked so whatever I am doing is working for us.

If I am all in on the property for 360k (purchase and some finishing construction as well as carry costs) and the home is valued at 450k or more (based on what im told by agents as well as my own analysis while staying conservative), that is 20%+ equity I believe, unless I am missing something.

They’re such great tenants, they made us happy, and I wanted to keep them happy, so rent just stayed the same.

I have stayed profitable, for now.

I prefer to stay further from the coast and hopefully further from major storm/flooding events (potentially lower insurance costs).  

@Nathan Harden- agree about OH ....I went to school at Miami U and lived in columbus area for a few yrs  ...many friends that still live there ......I live in Seattle proper ( near  Magnusson Park ...also  own  2  properties in Mason County ......father in law lives on  close to 10 acres close to downtwon Medina so we will be dealing with  figuring out the  best thing to do with this  as he gets  older ( he is  83 now) ...stay in touch
