Yeah the credit unions I talk to are saying outside of a few folks, no one's doing much of anything and little to be underwritten.

I’d love to utilize that loan again but was told I could only have 1 active VA Home Loan at a time For my additional VA loans, I used a local credit union that moved the loan to Citizens Bank, then Navy Federal, and Veterans United.

You should have a minimum of $15k in reserves for repairs.Your challenge is 1. finding a place at your price point (you might want to branch out to Bayonne, Union City, West New York) and 2. finding a vacant place or one with renters paying market rent.
