Once I get back, I'll be busy with a leadership course and then leave for a year in Korea and am unsure of where I will be living after that. 

I cold call at least 2-3 hours a day, read a bunch of books about real estate, look on globest.com every now and then.Speaking of which, wondering if anyone here has ever gone to a CRE networking or conference.

I met one of the owners at an American society of Home Inspectors conference.

Looks like a great conference.

There should be a clause in the property manager's contract that says they must confer with the owner for repairs over a certain dollar amount.

Ok, I'll look into getting a CPA as suggested, but do I have to confer with him/her or all the time or just now in the beginning?  

The Agent Leadership Council will also be another good resource so that there should always be someone available to help you.

I am extremely curious if any of you know any MN investor conferences or networking events.

That being said there does seem to be demand for smaller offices that provide reception, mail and conference facilities.

If only we could figure out how to do it as a webinar or whatever it's called where people could speak up as on a conference call, I know nothing about that as I admit being technologically deficient!
