Mid term rentals have been getting more popular due to the recent Short Term restrictions aka "airbnb restrictions" I have a few clients that do MTR to traveling nurses for example, it's not as much $ as AirBnb, but it's more than a long term tenant. 

I am also curious as to whether others are offering short-term rentals in Denver, particularly near hospitals where traveling nurses might frequent.I have a lot to learn! 

My wife is a travel nurse (I work remotely) and she is going to be starting a contract soon at the university hospital in Columbia, MO.

The population has been growing here year over year over the last decade, it is home to The Ohio State University which has over 50,000 students that live here along with those that visit, and it also holds a diverse range of young professionals and traveling nurses to fill the demand of the multiple business corporations and hospitals stationed here.

One strategy that I am investigating is renting to travel nurses.
