Job after job fell through, but finally (a week ago) I got a job at a local pharmaceutical company, and now I'm getting ready to gear up and actually start investing, finally.

I am trying to change gears a bit from casual real estate professional to full time investor.  

Some lenders seem to be geared toward extremely short term loans (<12 months) with stupid high interest rates (25%+) while others have mentioned in general info that they offer SBA loans, lines of credit, etc with 10-25 year terms and interest at a more reasonable 5-10% rate.

I need to start switching gears to a portfolio lender.

You are looking to create income, while some people are looking to preserve value, and others don't mind negative gearing for tax purposes...:)And then there's the reality that not everyone knows how to do the numbers.

There are also many mixed reviews, but the general consensus is that they have a good strategy and know what they are doing, but they are more geared towards investors with very large portfolios and they are very pricey. 

Something geared towards an analyst role considering your degree, sales, management, etc

Just be aware they are not one in the same, so choosing one should be more geared towards what is better fitted to your situationI don't recommend just coming up with a random problem/business to start.

Since they seem to have geared toward personal credit and not simply business credit, usury will most likely apply.
