but labor is at an all time shortage for sure. so must pick carefully that has allowed some not ready for prime time folks to enter..

@Sastry Konduri  There's no shortage of Realtors on this site who will jump at the chance to set you up with an MLS search if that's what you're looking for. 

I own a few properties in the Hopkins/Minnetonka area and am currently looking further outside of the cities for places that have a shortage of housing that can perform well.

This will certainly cure California’s housing shortage, reduce the supply, that has to help, right?

We have streams of people coming here every year so there is never going to be a shortage of tenants.  

We have a housing shortage which makes it a competitive market but once you secure a few small multi family properties you will have no shortage for tenants that will be eager to rent your units.

I don't like missing an extra month of rent, but I also know that delays can occur, particularly in today's supply shortage environment, and I don't want to be the landlord that causes someone to give a notice to vacate only to not have a kitchen ready.  

He's just hoping for more balance.My two cents...There is a HUGE shortage of inventory.

Also, as someone else already noted, it is really tough to get crews and manage them right now with the labor shortage and people not wanting to work.

Government price controls almost always end in shortages and decrease in availale housing according to almost all economists.
