The Denver market is definetly hot right now with a shortage of rentals.

Contractors here are backed up for months, and there is no shortage of construction work needed.

I think house shortage makes a NJ a good spot for investment- though not sure if price points make it a good ROI..Pros in NJ and DE area - can you please provide your perspective on ROI in the two markets and where should I start exploring.

I have decided that i wanted to do real estate investing because although i love my current job(house cleaning) it has come to the point where it is physically draining and at my short age i have back problems.which effect me day to day l Need a better lifestyle where am not stressed nor strained.i also wanted to get in to real estate because i wanted to start flipping houses with my boyfriend (he works in construction and in the past has worked in ladscaping)i also only thought that flipping was the only thing to do. 

As a result there is a shortage of housing for anyone who does not fit into the ideal family structure: divorcees, career oriented women, unmarried people, gays--anyone undergoing a life transition.

I would also suggest attending some REIA meetings in the area (there's no shortage of them).

There is no shortage of realtors.

Needless to say they will never have a shortage of applicants, and those kids need a place to live.

Luckily there is no shortage of books on either subject, but it is finding relevant information.

but labor is at an all time shortage for sure. so must pick carefully that has allowed some not ready for prime time folks to enter..
