What's most frustrating is that they have bought a new gazebo, a new large pool, outdoor furniture and other luxuries while they owe us money.

But mini-split systems are much less expensive to install compared with conventional fully ducted systems that require a furnace and an air conditioner.The other advantage is that you get more localized temperature control in each room. 

Also the cold water valve on the outdoor shower does not appear to be working.

It would be great to get together and do a socially distanced sync, possibly at an outdoor venue.

Especially my daughter who went to Alaska where the temperature drops to 50 below zero.

It's good for giving a place to make noise late night without hammering the house, or bothering the neighbors from the pool or outdoor areas.

The salty sea air just beats up everything - outdoor furniture, grills, exterior doors, and even the decking need frequent replacement. 

A savvy investor buying in the winter also checks the date to see if the water was weatherized before freezing temperatures or not.

We use the solar to preheat into a large (100usg) storage tank, then each unit has an in-line water heater to raise the temperature (if needed) on the way to the unit.
