I could save $3000 just by not re-painting the entire house inside and out (the house was painted 3 years ago and is "okay"; I would just only paint the bad areas) and leaving the crappy kitchen countertop and kitchen cabinets.  

I just installed one a few weeks ago that fit under the kitchen countertop, so I would think it would fit in a crawl space as well.

No problems at all.I feel the renters can see that we are not slumlords and like investing back into the property if there are no issues.My Lincoln Park property I replaced the kitchen and did the bathroom with everything coming from Lowes,  Nice white cabinets and a nice butcher block counter top. 

We put in new kitchen cabinets with Corian countertops from craigslist, the granite fad has made them slightly out of style, but they're so great for rentals, and inexpensive.

We will use some off white/muted grey wall colors, grey tile, white cabinets, and light grey granite countertops in the kitchen and baths.On the exterior, we are planning to replace the roofs on all buildings with 40 year architectural shingles and paint the exterior a complimentary color which will be create a sense of place and setting in the woods surrounding the home.The most challenging part of this flip will be removing the trees around the house. 

New everything from, flooring, paint, light fixtures, bathtub, ac unit and refinished the kitchen cabinets and countertops.

Hey BP,I have a family member who recently bought a cabin in Big Bear, CA and is having trouble finding a good place for good quality but affordable ($5K-10K for full kitchen renovation) kitchen cabinetry and countertops. 

-Flooring - LVP (vinyl planking)-Appliances - Black (ideally) or white if need be-Paint - Basic gray or sandstone-Kitchen - Cabinet (white), countertops (vinyl)

Slab granite for a countertop is overkill, unless 95% of the neighboring properties have it.
