I definitely am not claiming I knew much about RE when I started or that my purchases were above average.But I was fortunate to start in a market that even stupid purchases historically look great with time.Location and time can overcome a lot of stupid decisions. 

We need to master overcoming objection and realize that banks and seller and buyer and people are crazy and confusing.We need a good sounding board, team of people, solid spouse and strong mind to get through the accumulation mode of buy properties and controlling property. 

For LALA land, it may be the case that the median affordable part is just mostly overcome by the sheer numbers of qualified buyers and lack of inventory for them.

I recommend that you save yourself and invest in rental property that is to post-dinosaur building code/construction in high demand markets.So hard to overcome stupid...don't go here.

I enjoy getting up Monday morning because I'm excited to go in and help my team solve problems and overcome challenges. 

We see this so much with our younger tenants who are overcome with 'social media triggered depression syndrome'.In fact we had one beautiful girl OD on antihistamines.

Overcoming the mindset of paying down mortgages is a dilemma for me. 

Of course some guys can overcome that issue with more volume/work. 

I thought was their job to talk through these things and over come these types of obstacles.
