Hi @Edward DebbsI hear what you're saying and I'm no pro by any means, but what I see is that someone else is aiding in paying your mortgage plain and simple.

Seek out the local legal aid society for a thorough review of your facts and to determine whether you are liable based on prior dealings, and what rights your parents have by virtue of the unique facts of this case.

It worked out in my favor once sorted out, as the Officer handed the notice to tenants officially aiding my cause.

He lives out of state and he has another guy managing his enterprise.

(Even if it's a snappy little bugger, unlikely to need much more than a band-aide worse case... vs. pit bull... could be an extended hospital stay or worse, not to mention liability you assume as landlord.)

If everyone was a saver, or an investor, or an entrepreneur, my own enterprise would be within serious competition at best and over saturation at worst.

So far, all of our students have gotten financial aid, so they budget for rent right up front.
