@David BeardIn reading your posts, I am not entirely clear (different tax system), but is the treatment you describe only applicable to an instalment sale (where the sale is only complete once all instalments have been paid)?

You would basically be requesting to receive the special circumstance treatment, if they said no and you stay in the home then everything is fine.
