All of these ideas are great, and I would also add that even though you are an introvert, consider networking opportunities such as going to investor meetings, volunteer work, your barber, church, dog park, grocery store, you name it!  

side of things, I've done mortgages for formerly incarcerated persons that, based on information volunteered in two particular cases that come to mind, it is pretty safe to say were felons.
