What is the cap rate in that market for the property class and vintage? 

Do I bite the bullet and try to make it look modern, comprising custom, vintage, one of a kind quality to appeal more to end users,  or truly play up the custom elements by adding in more period design elements such as stained glass, hammered bronze sinks to kitchen & vanities etc.

Specifically, I was drawn to the older and outdated properties in the Worcester area (a lot of SFR's seem to be late 70's early 80's vintage).

Expenses in a given market on a given type/vintage of asset are quite efficient, and there is very little one could do to clear that hurdle.

Is this asset slightly older vintage and could possibly have some costly repairs coming up?
