The property is a REO Occupied home that we could not inspect prior to bidding and only had one photo of a really bad exterior.

However, I’ve noticed that larger homes (3-4 bedrooms) tend to have difficulty renting as MTRs since most MTR tenants in our area are traveling healthcare professionals, typically renting solo or with one other person.

The photos online won't be of much use to you as the photos where the money spend is at are in the basements, attics, and the exterior of the house, and every corner of those if that helps.

I've stayed in places like this myself before while traveling but back then I never looked at what the market was like in those places.

The quoted exterior price per pier (concrete) ranged from $225 - $375 per pier.

It would be good if traveling with pets required number and type but that is just nice to have.

I’m not sure how the financing would work for such a move, being that I have 50k in student loans and 216k owed on the primary residence and work as a traveling nurse on a modest income.
