So it's just personal preference and budget for a host.

The more people living in a building, the less personal responsibility each tenant feels.

Sometimes you will have that next person/family lined up and ready to go, but sometimes it takes much longer and you need do renovations or at least some repairs.

Once I had the right person to speak with, things went much better, and I hope that is the case for your situation, too.  

I dont have experience in your area or the builder but I am building modular single family and multifamily in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.

This is my first deal, and since I have no experience with it.
