They kind of implied that remodel was a path but the permits $$$$ would be way higher as I understand them.

SC permits fractional titles but there's stipulations (which I don't know about specifically).Strong fences make good neighbors.

In the county, there are about 850 STR permits in use. 

Some of my rentals are grandfathered in, but are in areas where re-building would no longer be permitted.
