I wouldn't be too concerned about climate when buying a property, (obviously don't buy next to the levee in NO as was said) just be aware of the weather as it affects your area.

Heres the case...I had an AOS to buy 4 lots of land from a buyer who lives next door .......After having it signed , I decided to assign two of the 4 lots to someone else. as a result two new AOS were signed one for me for the two lots I wanted to build on and a new aos for lots I wanted to sell for quick profit.But in a nutshell I want to terminate his agreement to buy.

I would be very surprised if your AOS does not outline something related to a financing / mortgage contingency because you were going through an FHA.

I think I like it not because I believe I need less money down or it's easier, but because of the additional level of difficulty that comes with trying to get a mortgage at my age and income level. I

Though I enjoy my job on a creative level, I have never been the one to want to work a 9-5 job, creating wealth for other people, I always have had an entrepreneur mind set. 

@Sam Collins I don't know the Houston market but what I'm seeing on a macro level is that the market is still strong.

@Connor Dunham from what I read on the muni page it says "AO 2019-99(S) requires hosting platforms that receive payment including tax to register with the Municipality, collect, and remit tax on behalf of the operator to the Municipality.
