Have you expanded the geographical range, and gone further back in time?

His primary mortgage was sold to a private lender in the early 2000s and he claims he had to give an explanation each time as to why he financed with a private lender with such poor reputation every time his credit was pulled.

First decide the area(s) of interest to you as an investor - both geographically and the type of investment (SFR, small / large multi, storage, etc).

Now I did some research and everyone has their  explanations for what the law means.

Their explanation had to do with the front porch settling and causing water to get into the basement.

You are absolute spot on when you say @Jonathan Pflueger should win an award that explanation was incredible, concise and very informative and powerful. 

@Art Maydan I live in an area with lots of radon issues due to geographical issues.

So I am open geographically.
