Looking to pick your brain on this:As a rehabber, What are some good suggestions or ways to to secure a loan when you are self employed and don't have the 9-5 gig with salary?

@Tony Castronovo, I am in the middle of the reno phase on our first BRRRR and the end ARV figure is definitely keeping my brain pacing at night.

I've lived and presently live where I can hear a train, but at night my brain seems to shut it out, knowing that it's not a threat, so I don't hear it and don't wake up from it. 

I would like to pick your brain about how to find the deals and network.  

EX: Partner, Lend privately first, Buy a property a year, etcConnections are key  when getting started, so reach out to anyone actively doing what you want to do in real estate and meet up with them, pick their brain.

That will be ther determining factor to where we eventually settle.Ill look into Ohio, a colleagues wife back in Australia is a Buckeye so could pick her brain about there as well.Take care
