Obviously purchase price matters, but your biggest variable is handicapping your occupancy and your ADR for your STR in a post-covid world.  

The other posters are right in their advice to look into what it will take to make the units fully handicap accessible.

However we and a lot of  our (old) friends plan on "aging at home"  We will have a home with a master on the main and maybe even handicap accessible.  

Handicap.  

Unless you know which property/ies you'll be buying then I wouldn't want to handicap my searching by only working with one agent. 

Not being able to physically be at your property as a newbie will handicap you.

That might extend your rental months.There is bow season, musket season, regular season, handicapped season, kids season...Good Luck!

Also if each unit has individual driveway and garage (and there is no parking lot of any kind), do I need a handicapped parking space?

Because when you come from where I come from its much easier to look like you have something then to actually have something.Credit cards and Cadillac handicap my community because why go through all the BS the banks put you through to get legit when its so much easier to get the "easy credit".
