Cape Canaveral's port and Melbourne airport will be premier locations and sources of revenue.Growing up here, and traveling around the country/ world before settling down in DC made me appreciate the power that "Big Government" jobs have to influence the surrounding economy and real estate market.

@Marc Middleton I'm not familiar with the lawsuit but I am with the area, being down the road a bit, mostly in the Melbourne Beach area.The towns that dot A1A are a mess of laws and conflicting regulations and as such I've just stayed out of it entirely but only buying and renting in unincorporated Brevard County.  

Still no coverage on most of the east coast including Melbourne and Jacksonville.

I interned for a small but rapidly growing Commercial Real Estate Firm last summer and one of, if not the top broker at the company has asked me to work under him upon my return from a 6 month stint in Melbourne, Australia.Generally, 3 years as a property manager is a prerequisite for a broker at this firm, so I feel blessed to have such an opportunity. 

I am interested in rehabs in and around melbourne and palmbay right now, and then want to see if we can move into a buy and hold arena eventually.Any advice and information would be appreciated.
