Neighboring houses have varying paint schemes, but none have this white yellowish brick color.

My other houses have wood floors too, but their color is more yellowish-orange.

I still need to play with the camera settings and go back for more photos, but, you can see below a reminder of why we have a No Pet policy:This is what many years of "doggie diapers" at the end of the hallway look like ... yes, the yellowish and brown areas are urine stains.  

yea i'd stick to a black and white themeunless i was up to changing appliances & countertop.make sure to sand down paint well and if oil WHITE paint make sure its not the type that dries/ages to yellowish

Behr is kinda yellowish.

It should be a yellowish brown color.

Problem is the undertones in your floor are yellowish and the modern look everyone seems to want is white and gray.

Of those ten, 7 have red brick,  9 will have semi dormant grass, and  a yellowish brown color palatte.
