If your priority is passive income, syndications or out-of-state STRs in strong markets (Smoky Mountains, Gulf Coast, Scottsdale) make the most sense.Good luck! 

I had a great CPA on the east coast where I used to live but I am hesitant to do taxes remotely.

I am in the Space Coast of Florida and I have invested from Miami to Daytona.

With that being said, if there are any agents or investors located in Western NY willing to let me learn from them, or simply learn more about them, I am willing to work something out and/or possibly work for free.

I think I'm paying about $4300/yr on a $600k property but that's in western NC and rates will vary by location.

It is in small town of Milolii on south end of the Kona Coast and I could list it for about $600k.  

We primarily focus on residential multi-family and so far we have stayed in the Western Mass area.

Definitely a "citation needed" statistic right there well I noticed she is from Western Australia ( Maybe Perth) and I know there has been a ton of wealth created in OZZIE land through RE  no doubt..

I have short term rental properties in Southern and Western areas of Catskills.
