A PM doesnt have to have a system in place for updating you on every step because not every client wants or needs that but if they have a client that does want some extra touch points then it is important to you that you have one place you can send a quick email and get a quick email back with what seems to be a quick response.

IMO there is a level of expectation that the manager will not be perfectly in tune with you, but that’s why you have regular touch points via phone or email to check on progress, changes, etc. 

I am looking for a good CRM that will help me streamline communications down the road and track contacts while continuously creating touch points throughout the year.

Also using direct mail to add more touchpoints in the mix.
