I also rotated free gym memberships so I could shower when both bathrooms were ripped apart, and I often carried my toothbrush with me to Home Depot so I could brush in their bathroom..haha! 

No place really to set down a hair brush or toothbrush. 

Leaving all your belongings, clothes, tooth brush, etc does not appear to be abandonment.When did he last pay rent?

There were tooth brushes and shave cream in each bathroom.

I've added the same things to the cabin (his and hers toiletries, spare toothbrushes, snacks, wine, roku streaming, etc), but they haven't had the same effect. 

Don't bother getting the house in shape, leave whatever you don't want to take, no showings and other headaches, just take your check, your toothbrush, and other valuable possessions with you, and we'll handle the rest.
