A couple that come to mind are Madera County (Oakhurst, North Fork, Bass Lake) and Placer County (Loomis, Auburn, Newcastle).

I’m eager to learn more and want to constantly be around like-minded people to keep growing in this space!

Also, managing the property as a rental could offer tax benefits.When purchasing, keep in mind condo association fees and maintenance costs.

I started diving back into learning by reading the Real Estate Rookie and was hoping to put myself out there and find some like minded individuals that are in the beginning stages of their investing career as well.

That is a thought that's in the back of my mind regarding all the red tape you may encounter on the building side.

Ill keep it in mind if I buy it.

Congrats on submitting that offer and perusing Senior living, either for you or your client.I have been involved in the purchasing process for several senior living facilities, and work closely with a few people who operate RCFE, sober living, and similar types of properties.From what I have learned, the most important thing to keep in mind when purchasing RCFE properties, is that you are also purchasing a business.

Keep in mind these are duplexes so double kitchens, appliances, hvacs ect.... greater cost than a single family.
