Investor seeking flips in up and coming neighborhoods of north Dallas.

Dallas is over-priced, and so are Plano, Frisco, Allen, etc.

I have an initial goal of attaining $3,000 per month ($36k annually) in income derived from real estate investments in order to supplement my full-time job.To kickstart this post, I thought I'd ask some questions to the community that I've been pondering over the course of my real estate education:First, market timing: I have the sense that the Dallas market has been on the upswing for the past several years, accelerating even more rapidly since the announcement of several major companies (including Toyota) moving to Plano.  

Do you recommend to invest in Richardson/Plano areas?

(knowing that the market is starting to balance out), thanks  Plano/Richardson.....basically the corridor to the north of Dallas. 

Probably have to focus on areas like Frisco, Irving, Grapevine, Plano, Flowermound, etc.

Currently house-hacking in a SFH in Plano, looking to save up for a down payment to purchase a property in OKC within the next year. 

Is it on the rise or slowing down, like Plano and Frisco area.

I personally feel like there’s a lot of opportunity for that in the Frisco /Little Elm/Plano/Colony area.I want to obtain financial freedom by obtaining property to buy and hold and rent out to section 8, eventually.
