Martin I saw your thread about the great meetup you organised few days ago in east bay.

You could then refinance the property and withdraw your capital back out of the company with minimal to no tax implications.Best to sit down with your accountant and real estate attorney to devise an organisation that makes the most sense for your longer term plans ... and a path of how you will get there.

Once they have their vision and strategy articulated, they should sit down with an accountant and attorney who are well practiced in real-estate and plan the nuts and bolts of how to organise .... when should they incorporate (if at all); will they need/want a multi-layer corporate structure (sometimes it is advantages to incorporate large buildings in their own company); will a trust ever be needed, etc.  

@Matthew McLean You are correct, a multi-tiered corporate organisation may be excessive at this point.

I use Podio for my own organisation for CRM and Project management.
