@Roy N., unfortunately, to add to the frustration, Buildium's journal entries do not allow you to enter a vendor for the expense, you can only select which GL Account to debit and which payable to credit, so I'd still be stuck not able to track vendors for 1099's, see below.  

I highly suspect N Nevada is going to see ongoing demand.

Even with renovation costs and insurance costs the fix n flips are still making money.

If the house is older than 15 years old and n ADU is added, it can become rent controlled.

@Shmou N  Yes, you can collect other fees & yes, you receive a notification every time a payment is made.

I am considering moving back as I have family there and if so would plan to look for fix-n-flips to invest in. 

There thinking some clean-up-fairy comes swooping in with a broom, washes the ashes away and then Bob The Builder n all his friends comes hot on the hells, Bing-Bang-Boom all is rebuilt and were singing kumbayas by Christmas.......Reality is it took about 10 years to rebuild post katrina.
