@Justin Sheley, they get compensated by a fee solely based on success, zero up-front fees, free consulting on these lines and how to milk them well for life.  

If I buy a gallon of milk at the corner store, that doesn't make me owner of a commercial property. 

You start to think are they milking the system and will they do the same to you.

I also think many buildings I view are super outdated and I view the landlords as just milking the buildings and not putting money back into them so I view it as buying someone's else problem.

If you feel like they're milking the clock, get another lawyer to nip this in the bud.

just milking for cash flow though or just having some SFRs I think being a slumlord if not really all this advantageous even leaving out the human factor (i.e. your hurting your tenants).
