I didn't want to sound "anti-software" but a good accounting system isn't going to be $60, over the years I had thousands in operational software and MAS 90, the program of that day, such isn't necessary for a small investor but folks should ask their accountant which system they suggest for them to use.

I was in Henrico over X-Mas.

@Amit M. as you know I am deep into the buy and hold strategy in the Bay Area. 

I'm not familiar with Excel, I am with MAS 90, but TValue is accurate and it was free last time I saw it.
