I thought of Air bnb yurts on it, building a amphitheater, expanding the farm for livestock.

You could do a Timber Sale to purchase infrastructure/livestock and pasture development.

Steve MightAs I mentioned in prior posts, we have moved away from being "pet friendly" in most of our properties for some of the very reasons you are now encountering: a 2K floor refinishing on a 1-2year turnaround grows old quickly.In the one property were there are still pets (3-dogs, which we inherited with the building), we have used commercial grade vinyl {think Target, Wally-world, etc} and it appears to be standing-up to the livestock.

Not being able to afford a farm/homestead and the full risk of running an operation of my own yet I am looking to offset the cost/risk with rentals, preferably long term and possibly short term.The idea began with a Mobile Home Park that a portion could be a market garden and possible small scale livestock.

They ask things like how much irrigation when they own no livestock, and ask what county we are in to determine how lax the laws are, vs what schools are good around here lol.

eg: Timber, live stock, solar farm, farming etc. 

I'm not really sure where it came from as I do a lot of side work on my own (scrapping, flipping cars, selling livestock).

I collect my rent in small coins (preferably pennies) and if they don’t have the rent I also accept livestock.

Place must also have water for livestock otherwise it's typically a no go!
