There are many local real estate investor groups or associations.

This question came from the Bigger Pockets Facebook Group, and I thought it was a good one.

They have a ton of good groups and meet up events happening on both sites.

You can also check meetup.com or search Facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.

I have been on board with an all military affiliated team with Coldwell Banker Vanguard;The Military Group for about a year.

Or just strangers off the street you met at a REI group? 

I also just requested to join a couple fb groups realted to STRs in DFW. 

I'm in the Tampa Bay area and I will put an ad on Craigslist, Indeed or post in a group on Facebook for AirBNB/STRs.

I would also join every FB group for investors, from local to California, and post the package there as well.
