I'm a FinTech professional in NYC with strong passion in Real Estate.

I've applied to commercial brokerage companies and real estate fin-tech companies in my area (Los Angeles), but I'm trying to broaden my search.

There's a couple fintech companies looking to swap equity for a share of appreciation but they don't take a cut of the rental income. 

I was actually working at a fin-tech start-up focused on managing Hard Money Lending portfolios and enjoyed being connected to the real estate world while there.

One the bullish side for London I read yesterday that there has recently been more fin tech VC here than in SF so that is promising.

I work a day job at a FinTech company and I'm looking to build a rental property portfolio over the next few years that replaces my salary, and allows for eventual financial independence. 

My background is in retail banking and I've since moved to a management role at a fintech firm but I'm interested in getting involved with real estate investing.  

Fidelity may be fine because they have essentially become a fin tech and make a good amount of money on trading and low cost access to the market.
