I'd hire someone to do pretty much everything else (erecting the logs, foundation, draw up the plans, etc..).  

In those parts of KC, you may as well be erecting a billboard with a giant neon arrow pointing to your house that says "FREE STUFF HERE!!".

My renters work short term jobs on large metal erections at a petrochemical refinery and nitrogen fertilizer plant.

My STRs don't get any published reviews, it's just word of mouth advertising between different contractors that work on large steel erections at a petrochemical refinery and nitrogen fertilizer facility. 

They stay in one of my 22 STRs to work on large erections of steel at a petrochemical refinery and associated nitrogen fertilizer facility for short term jobs. 

Contractors are those guys you see working on the large steel erections.

They work on those large vertical erections of steel you see in a petrochemical refinery.

Comparable properties in the neighborhood are being torn down to erect bigger structures, but that's not my wheelhouse.
