I am considering purchasing empty lots priced roughly $10-15K below market value.My plan is to offer owner financing for the land.These lots have water, drainage, and electric connections available, and mobile homes are permitted.The area is experiencing significant development, with the lots surrounded by new single-family homes.I would really appreciate any advice, feedback, or suggestions.Thank you

I live in Charlotte and would prefer a multi-family investment property that is within a 3-4 hour drive so I'm considering areas that include: Charlotte, Raleigh / Research Triangle, Charleston, and Atlanta.

We have had good luck with STR in Lexington due to the surrounding areas and events that go on in the Columbia area.

Is it as simple as driving around and figuring it out?

House hacking can be very rewarding, but at the same time - do your research on surrounding markets - maybe in the Oldsmar/Westchase area you may find something better out in those areas. 

Since Landlords are going to be monitored even more now with the price gouging issues surrounding the fires in LA, I would be extra cautious.

But I don't think I fully understand the law surrounding this and the actual ways it should be used.As I understand it, this is what you could do with such a clause if you are buying a property and the seller is financing it to you:As an example using easy numbers, you could buy a property through seller financing for a price of $100,000.

Also, living in a better area of NB is still much cheaper than the rent in the suburban towns that surround NB which will always be an advantage of owning there.
