I never really get to slip away from the gym or a decent diet for too long because we always talk about it in casual convo.

Everyone knows what it takes to have 6 pack abs but not many people are disciplined enough in diet and exercise to have them.

Once it’s in their fold, they seldom monitor price, or respond to reviews, etc. if things are operational they consider that “good enough”. 

Build routines (no different than dieting, working out, etc.)5.

If you are in debt/financial trouble it seldom makes sense to try and fix it with more debt. 

But beyond that we used many techniques that nowadays are either seldom used or totally misused by the undercapitalized, poorly educated and totally naive disciples of irresponsible “gurus”. 

Were they dieting, weighing out food portions?

This is really a great short-cut to analyzing deals, because I can easily look at the ARV spread (which you should seldom trust, by the way) and see if it is even feasible to make how much I want to make.
