One thing that is low risk is write a personalized letter. it should stress how you will take care of the home.I accepted an offer because it was a refugee family, and they wrote about how they wanted a better life for their daughter. i figure it would be good Karma, and those folks still keep in touch and thank me with a home cooked meal every 3 months.
