If you depreciate in the USA and the Norwegian tax system does not recognise it as a valid deduction, you could be paying tax in your home country.

I'm a remote investor looking to make my first purchase in IllinoisA fellow Norwegian investor I know was fortunate enough to find a lawyer in Indiana that formed an LLC for him with a stake in the company themselves - meaning he was by proxy able to start investing in the US before his ITIN number arrived (bought 6 properties in that time).
