I'm thinking a shared free laundry space is one, perhaps a shared grill on an outdoor ground level patio.

(Water supply from the main house, a new drain, a small electrical panel, outdoor washer/dryer).The question is...what's the best way to move forward?

Outside of RE I LOVE anything outdoors.

i'm thinking of making one with poured cement as its for outdoors in a private spot in my backyard (very simple, open, like the type near beaches and pools, but i do want a pan so i can redirect grey water down the pan's drain to the area of garden i want it to go. yea i like to take showers outdoors in the summer instead of tracking dirt/mud into the house, as am an avid gardener and it reminds me of my vacations overseas of which these days it doesn't look i'll be going on anytime soon cuz of my finances =/

While my dog didn't do any physical damage when we rented (he would never), I definitely bathed him in the nice warm shower at least twice a month rather than paying for an outside dog wash or an outdoor hose, and I had no problem playing fetch with him up and down the carpeted hallway rather than getting on my rain coat and taking him outside for play time in the rain.  

We used white vinegar from Costco on outdoor concrete (patio) and it worked really well.

We ended up putting 3 contingencies down that they eventually fixed: a recalled electrical panel that had multiple double taps, a service and cleaning of the furnace (which ended up not in running condition so they installed a furnace from another house to replace it), and an adjustment of the hot water limit switch due to it not being up to temperature (the shower faucet in the upstairs would be cranked all the way left and it would be luke warm, but the downstairs was scalding in that position).I figured I would end up spending "x" amount of money getting to small claims just to have the case thrown out.

Let them know the phone is only for emergencies that involve fire, temperature or water.
