This would be totally fine if I planned on going fishing, but honestly I had no such intent.

Actually not to sound like a moron but I work alot and have a hard time just doing what he tells me sometimes, let alone figuring out what the best option is in the first place.The trick is finding someone who cares about your business and will really help you, rather than some large firm with bigger fish to fry that just goes through the motions and sends you a bill.

OTH, I'd think many regulators are too busy to go fishing for violations, but if they see some grand errors and intentional violations they could very well start making notes in a file.

This company basically had huge chunks of land, and has been selling it off in 1-10 acre parcels, and putting up small cabin-like structures on them for hunting/fishing.2.

I was just listening to a podcast on the Instagram topic and had never considered it as a way to fish for leads. 

I live in a small town, so I figured it wouldn't be huge, but is this a large enough number to starting sending mailers or should I broaden my search?

I was mostly in a very small fishing village called Playa Gigante which just north of San Juan del sur.

Better to find the fish the sharks aren't looking at and take it quietly.I also agree with @Chris Mason look for those "hidden" things about a property that make it possible.
