I just acquired two identical, side-by-side duplexes and am starting to plan out my rehab project.

yep theres so many fake paystubs, tax returns, ss cards, bank statements, proof of funds letters, employment/income 'verifiers', and lately, even faked credit identities to go with the alternate ssn/tid!

I use drivers license to confirm identity and background company confirms identify by cross referencing dob, drivers license number, social security number, and address.   

I see that in my market regardless if it's a duplex or a 16 unit building (and higher).But for whatever it's worth,my buildings are side by side and identical.

MTM would appear to be that the LL can evict if a tenant refuses to sign a new lease that is identical to your old one (when the old one expires.)   

You're comparing the non-payment rates at two identical points in the rent cycle, so the question is answered:  are more people paying late in these times than normal?
