Hi @Tim Pagano -- depending on how many new buildings go up - I think it'll be a rising tide lifts all ships scenario, driving up rents all around.  

Purchase a shipping container for under $5000 and convert it.

@Tyler Frost there are plenty of imported lines where everything is stocked here, and you shouldn’t have to wait 2-3 weeks for additional parts, if you are in middle of a job (at least my customers don’t wait that long), most of the add ins can be shipped via UPS, and released from the factory within a day or two.

Ship around for a broker that meets your needs.

This is of course contrary to what is popularly believed as put forth by those selling mentor ships.

I always feel bad for "dumb" money get gets thrown in low income areas-- those are the houses that aren't finished, get robbed,  go over budget and they just abandon ship.   

You also hear this from big time investors who are looking to sell mentor-ship programs.Of course some of these can be legit win win situations but my guess is few if anyone makes the 5-10K consistently they promise.

Recently the Army has given me orders to leave for Egypt on a 12 month tour this month only this time I got the ship headed in the right direction.

Instead of focusing on a specific part time job I would seek out the counsel and mentor-ship of someone who is doing what you want to do. 

Nothing focuses your mind like burning the ships.
