Really great service, and we've had very few time when the server was down in the past decade, and the handful of times, it was back up within minutes (and we monitor all of our sites for up-time, so we get alerts when they are down, so it's not like it ever went down without us knowing).

I recently had this crazy question, "what if I could live here in VA and invest in a market that is closer to my financial situation." but then other questions come up such as how would I see the property, monitor is up dating, and sell it with out leaving VA.

Jim still waiting for at least one post to support your position .. so lets bump thread up and see if you can get at least one person to agree with you LOL... even if what you suggested could be implimented you could never monitor it.. there would be all sorts of back room deals.and this is just capitalism.would you not like to be offered Google on the opening sale of the stock.. ( I did not get a chance to buy it) only the players did ... so how do you reform that industry.

It would be a little more costly, but if you were planning to wire each of your units with an electronic lock and proximity sensor as part of your building monitoring/management system, the incremental would be small.

Also, once you own the property and are dealing with actual results it makes it easy to adjust for historical actual numbers on a monthly basis to monitor how the investment is performing.
