I'm convinced that, until they make an internet connected submeter (that can simply glob onto a wifi connection) that just publishs usage (and doesn't try to bill people), there will be no cost effective solution for small multis.

What i wish was that local municipalities like the Town of Hempstead would publish a list of homes that had many violations or that were declared unlivable, so that buyers like me could go find the owners, buy them and fix them up.
