We have a 2bed 1 bath where the previous owners squeezed in a 1/2 bath into the master bedroom Closet. 

Changes included:-Taking what used to be the Master Bedroom, tiny Master Bath, Hall Bath, and second Bedroom, and creating a gorgeous Master Suite with luxurious bathroom and large walk-in closet.

Most bedrooms have to have 70 sq feet minimum, an egress, a 7 foot ceiling, heating, and sometimes even a closet.

I put 18k in materials I repainted the interior , replaced the old iirrigation, put up shade screens over the pool and lounge area in back yard, repainted and stained the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, replaced the kitchen countertops, replaced the flooring in both bathrooms and walk in closet and finally put a new Hvac and heater in.

There are 2 heater units and 2 hot water heaters located in a utility closet. 

Most need a closet or it is considered a den.

I painted the walk-in closet Quail Ridge (it could have been Merino as well and would have looked nice - perhaps nicer in that color).Everyone who saw either unit commented on the paint job and colors - for landlords who only paint their units some form of white - they're making a mistake as it's boring and sterile-looking. 

This was also our personal house that we gutted, so it had things like "duel" headed showers, wood closet system, etc.

There all private rooms with a closet.
