Hey @Jeremy Pace - We've been dealing with some issues with spam attacks over the past 2 weeks and had to implement a delay on email notifications to help protect members from dozens or hundreds of notifications (has happened 2x now thanks to these jerks) from categories or posts they follow.

Be certain to use a moisture barrier between the bottom plate and concrete, and even consider a pressure-treated bottom plate.As far as messing around with the facade, I have not yet worked with one personally, so I would work with a pro first to learn more before I begin tackling it solo.

Gary Keller of Keller Williams wrote a book called "Shift - How Top Real Estate Agents Tackle Tough Times", and in Chapter 10 he wrote about using Creative Financing to help Sellers and Buyers.

This is, in part, to avoid any whiff of SPAM and to contact you if the emailed newsletters are not going through to try to fix any problems.Interestingly, the July 2016 issue has an article that relates to the subject being discussed here.

You certainly don't want people spamming others for points.

Agreed that it would be better (and likely much less expensive) to tackle from the outside, but it's good to know the options for dealing with the issue on the interior.
