Boy I looked at Abeerdeen hard back in 05 06 is was dead and dying.. not sure whats happened since.. but I loved flying into that little airport there and having my 100 dollar hamburger but then the restaurant closed.. the approach was over the bay very cool then I would take the long way home and fly up the coast to the Straight and wrap around to the peninsula go over Crescent lake then shoot down West of the SeaTac Class B and back home.. fun way to burn avgas. scenery off the charts..

It's not super hidden any more but with extremely low crime, very affordable houses coupled with good school systems, and tons of developments coming to the area (MLB airport expansion, Margaritaville, Water park, etc.) the appreciation potential is certainly there.
