Chris Clothier is active on BP and it might be worth taking a look at his profile to get a better idea on what he and his company represent as an investment option in your portfolio.I am biased but I would also recommend taking a look at the Kansas City market.

If they don't have products in house, they'll be slightly less biased in my opinion, however all FAs will get commissions on the products they sell you. 

Does it lessen a persons credibility just because they wrote some books, give seminars, write articles, give advice, or as an experienced person (real estate investor in this case) to question their integrity or bias?

Perhaps  misogynistic  was an intense choice in this situation, since the evidence  may not be glaringly gender-based.   

One last thing, it’s interesting to hear people’s biases.

In speaking with realtors in either market, I've received "bias" opinions based on the areas they serve.

And to make it clear that your asking price is negotiable so that all investors know they MUST get their own comps from a non-biased third party and that they are welcome to begin bidding at the ACTUAL market value of the property in question and not the intentionally massaged value provided by the wholesaler/seller’s rep.

I'm biased, but there's a reason I invest my money with him and not with other turnkey companies. 

I'm sort of biased towards refinery towns.

Being in San Antonio, I'm biased towards the Hill Country vacation towns or places along the river/lakes like New Braunfels, San Marcos, Canyon Lake, Medina Lake, etc.
